Our History
In 2014 European Motorworks of Nashville was founded by Jerry Ashmore, an ASE Master certified mechanic with over 30 years of automotive service experience. Jerry started working on Volkswagens back in 1987 while stationed in Hawai’i serving his country in the US Army. Since then, European cars like Volkswagen, Audi, and Porsche have popped up repeatedly in his life. For instance, the first car Jerry drove on the German Autobahn was a VW GTi, and he even lived in a Westy (VW Westfalia Van) when his house burnt down in college. After decades in the automotive industry (including co-owning a very successful European repair facility) Jerry decided to follow his own vision of building an honest, professional repair facility focused on the highest level of customer service. European Motorworks of Nashville was born!

Our philosophy at European Motorworks of Nashville has always been to treat each client like a family member. Our specialists can offer the most effective solutions, explain the repair process in detail, and ensure you still get the best value for your investment. We utilize factory level tooling and use original manufacturer parts to complete most repairs, giving you the most reliable and dependable results every time. Furthermore, we attend numerous factory-level training throughout the year to stay current on newer models and technologies. We are constantly improving to provide you with the very best service and quality in the area.
